Players can hunt alone or in a group of up to four players via the online multiplayer gameĪnnounced at E3 2017, Monster Hunter: World adopts the series’ standard formulas from its ancient roots for modern home consoles and mobile games to take advantage of the high processing power that modern consoles and computers provide. The game’s core episode features the player who creates the right gear to be able to track down more difficult monsters, which in turn provide parts that lead to more powerful equipment. If successful, the player is rewarded with loot that consists of parts of the monster and other items used to create weapons and armor, among other equipment.
In the game, the player plays the role of a hunter, who is tasked with hunting and either killing or hunting monsters that roam one of several environmental spaces.
